Brief Profile

Dr. Akanksha Jha is a Senior Consultant Pulmonologist and Interventional Pulmonologist with over 14 years of post-MD experience in Respiratory Medicine. She has extensive expertise in clinical pulmonology, bronchoscopic procedures and pleural procedures, with cumulative experience of more than 10,000 bronchoscopic and pleural procedures.

Her areas of clinical expertise include difficult-to-treat asthma, allergic disorders, allergen immunotherapy, sleep disorders, COPD, pleural diseases, bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). She is experienced in providing comprehensive respiratory care and managing complex pulmonary conditions.

Dr. Jha has undertaken advanced professional training in Allergy Testing and Allergen Immunotherapy, Comprehensive Sleep Medicine and EBUS. She has also participated in multiple dedicated EBUS training programmes and workshops, further strengthening her expertise in interventional and procedural pulmonology.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Jha has been actively involved in academic activities, research, teaching and professional conferences. She has been an invited faculty member at national conferences including NAPCON, NATCON and BRONCHOCON and has presented academic work at the European Respiratory Society Congress.
